Before booking my itinerary

Our services are intended to save you the hassle of having to plan your own trip. Why waste dozens of hours on research? Instead of having to look everything up yourself by reading through a thousand blogs or guidebooks that might be outdated, we put everything together for you. You won’t need to search for what to do, or how to get to your destination, or how to book your airfare or any other tickets. We’ll provide you with all of that. In a nutshell, we can save you more than 20 hours that you would otherwise have had to devote to planning your trip.

But that’s not all! We work with trip planners who have lived or specialize in specific destinations around the world, meaning you’ll enjoy personalized recommendations for restaurants and many other places that you would otherwise never have heard of.

You’ll receive a PDF document including the following:

  1. A complete day-by-day travel itinerary to the destination of your choice. The itinerary includes things to do & see depending on your preferences and interests (you’ll have to tell us about these, of course!). The itinerary for each day will follow a logical order so you don’t miss out on any important landmarks along the way, and will take their opening hours into account.
  2. Guidance on how to move from point A to point B. For instance, when to take the subway for transfers within a city or how to travel between cities.
  3. A breakdown of all the different transport options (plane, train, bus or other) to reach your destination from your hometown, including schedules, fares and links to book your tickets.
  4. A map for each day, so you can easily visualize your route and where each tourist attraction is located.
  5. Information on opening hours and entrance fees for every tourist attraction included in your itinerary. Whenever necessary, we’ll include links to book tickets.
  6. Recommendations of local restaurants, to suit your tastes.
  7. Other tips to ensure you have everything under control. Some examples are what to wear to visit specific places, or what time to visit particular attractions to avoid long lines, among other things.
  8. Information on how to travel from the airport or the train/bus station to the city center, and information on public transport in larger cities.
  9. Information on required visas & vaccines for each destination, when applicable.

You can print out the document and take it with you for the trip, or just check it online from any device.

Absolutely! You can find a sample itinerary here.

We rely on a team of trip planners specialized in various countries around the world. To be eligible to design an itinerary for a specific country, they must have lived there or visited multiple times, or be an expert for another reason. You can rest assured that your itinerary will be in the hands of someone who knows the destination inside out and can advise you like a local.

No. Keep in mind that we are not a travel agency. Therefore, we are not entitled to book any tours, hotels or transport tickets under your name. We will, however, provide you with all the links you need to book everything yourself in just one click.

No, but we do include a brief description of each tourist attraction you’ll visit so you know what it is. Keep in mind that Beidoo is not a guidebook. Our aim is to make all the prep work easier from a logistics perspective.

Absolutely! All our itineraries are fully customizable, so we can adapt yours to the mode of transport of your choice.

Let’s take a random example and suppose that you want to go on a one-week trip to Italy, to visit Florence and Rome. You’ll have to read a fair few blogs or travel guides to work out what there is to do & see and decide what you’re interested in. You’ll have to choose which tourist attractions you’ll be visiting on each day of the trip, and plan visits logically, according to where each place is located. For that, you’ll have to take a look on Google Maps on multiple occasions during your prep work. But that’s not all! You’ll also have to find out whether or not you need to buy any tickets in advance and google every single attraction’s opening hours to make sure you arrive during opening hours so you don’t get a (nasty) surprise. On top of that, you’ll have to figure out how to get to Italy, and how to travel from Rome to Florence. Chances are there’ll be plenty of transport options, so you’ll have to shop around and compare flight and train schedules to work out what suits you best. We could go on and on!

Based on our experience, researching a trip like this would take you at least 20 hours. Let’s say that your hour is worth €10 (which isn’t much, granted). So, 20 hours x €10/hour = €200. However, we’d only charge €75 for this trip. How do we do it? Our trip planners are specialized in their destinations and are used to planning trips to the places they know best. They can put together itineraries much faster, meaning we can offer competitive prices.

We hope this example illustrates that we offer fair prices – for you and for us.

After receiving my itinerary

Once you’ve booked, you’ll get access to your personal client area. Once the itinerary is ready, we will upload it there (in PDF format) and let you know so you can download it.

The first proposal we send you can be modified once free of charge. If you’re not happy with one or more parts of the itinerary, please let us know what you’d like to change no later than seven days following receipt of the itinerary. We will make all the necessary adjustments to fully adapt the itinerary to your wishes.

Further adjustments will incur extra charges (determined on a case-by-case basis).

Yes, you can ask us anything about the information included in the itinerary we sent you and we’ll be delighted to help. However, keep in mind that Beidoo is not responsible for any bookings. If any of your reservations undergo changes (such as changes to the flight schedule or cancelled activities by a tour operator), you will need to take care of making the relevant amendments to your itinerary.

Sure! Once you’ve downloaded it, it will be yours forever (just save it in a safe place!). However, we will delete the itinerary from your client area after your trip (but don’t worry – you’ll have downloaded it by then).
